Distributed input/output modules serve to create distributed control systems for technological objects and expand PLC functionality by increasing the number of I/O signals.

These modules can be connected to our KPA EtherCAT 4CAN Gateway.
By the way: These modules are fully compatible to the former Selectron I/O-devices produced by Selectron Systems AG

(fully compatible with Selectron AIC 701 / Selectron AIC 711 produced by Selectron Systems AG) with 4 isolated analog inputs serves to receive signals of either direct current or direct voltage or both from sensors and transform them into numeric code through each of the four inputs. Data exchange with Master PLC is executed through a serial communication channel based on CAN-interface (ISO 11898). Control and communication scheme is galvanically detached from the output signals scheme.
