The new release of the EtherCAT Master is now available. The KPA EtherCAT Master 2 for Linux Arm64 has been updated to version 2.7.1202.0.
This latest update, which follows release 2.7.604.0, introduces the following enhancements:
- Extension of the dmkpa library
In order to ensure backward compatibility with Master 1, the following functions have been moved to the dmkpa library:- KPASyncCreate – сreates a synchronization object to synchronize with Master cycle
- KPASyncReset – resets a synchronization object
- KPASyncWait – waits for the event on a synchronization object
- KPASyncDestroy – destroys a synchronization object
Note that if you have used these functions in Master versions earlier than 2.7, you will need to recompile the dmkpa library to use these functions in the latest version.
