KPA EtherCAT Master has been improved with the latest release. And The KPA EtherCAT Master for Windows x64 is now available in version 1.8.2002.
Compared to version 1.6.56506, this latest release brings the following enhancements:
- Multimaster improvements
The following enchancements have been implemented to improve the Multimaster feature:- From now on the only configurations specified in Master INI file are accepted as valid Master configurations. If the configuration that is used to create a Master instance is not specified in the Masters parameter, new error code will be returned – 0X804A.
- Thread parameters values in INI file inherit values from the default KPAMaster configuration, if thread parameters are not set in current configuration.
- New licensing policy
KPA is now applying a new licensing policy. From now on previously purchased licenses for Master 1.x are no longer valid for new versions and must be updated.
