EtherCAT Analyzer is an intuitive cross-platform software solution for inspecting and tracking EtherCAT networks. The application works autonomously, without relying on the Master controller.

EtherCAT Analyzer captures and assesses all communication between the Master and EtherCAT slaves via a sniffer (e.g. ET2000, tcpdump or Data Logger tool) connected after the Master. It enables simultaneous logging of both outgoing (Master → Slaves) and incoming (Master ← Slaves) data streams for in-depth evaluation.

  KPA EtherCAT Analyzer simplifies EtherCAT protocol analysis by non-intrusively decoding captured EtherCAT frames (.pcap) and automatically mapping them to Process Image variables described in configuration file (ENI.xml).
  No network modifications, configuration changes, or Master software adjustments required.
• EtherCAT Network Information (ENI) File Integration
  KPA EtherCAT Analyzer leverages the standard EtherCAT Network Information (ENI) file – fully compliant with ETG.2100 specification – which contains the complete Process Image definition including variables, data types, and cyclic frame structure. The Analyzer works with ENI files generated by any compliant configuration tool, for instance KPA EtherCAT Studio 2.
• Real-Time Process Data Monitoring
  KPA EtherCAT Analyzer provides intuitive real-time visualization of process variables (inputs/outputs), enabling users to selectively monitor specific signals, dynamically zoom through timelines, and precisely analyze values at any point.
