KPA EtherCAT Studio 2 released
We are pleased to share with you the news that our KPA EtherCAT Studio 2 has released a new version 2.12.15501.0 aimed to improve our tool and provide our users with a stable and efficient software.
- Manager of templates for the signal representation
Added the templates manager for array type variables to create, edit, export, import and manage templates. - MDP plugin improvement
The public part of the SDF API has been extended to simplify working with modular devices. -
Slaves Library enhancement
- Updated the XML structure to include a SerialNumber property, enabling differentiation between slaves with the same name.
- Enhanced serialization and deserialization processes to support this addition while ensuring backward compatibility.
- Improved the Slaves Library UI to allow adding, displaying, and managing slaves with identical names, distinguished by their unique SerialNumber property.
- License check extension
The Motion Configuration Utility tool is also subject to licensing. - Motion Configuration Utility improvement
Extended Motion Configuration Utility parameterization options for the user in terms of axis configuration. - Data Logger tool enhancement
The Data Logger tool has been extended with the possibility to collect the whole data, not only selected signals. - Safety configuration improvement
Safety devices scanning has been enhanced with device identification and validation.
