KPA EtherCAT Studio 2.12 released

A new version of the KPA EtherCAT Studio 2.12.12508.0 has been released. This version includes the following new features and improvements:

• Support for IO-Link protocol devices. Enhance flexibility in managing and automating industrial devices using the IO-Link protocol!
  This update includes:

  • Device Configuration: Easily configure IO-Link device directly within the plugin.
  • IO-Link Device Library: A built-in expandable library of supported IO-Link devices for quick and easy integration.
• The possibility to create a template with required types and to apply it to array-typed signal was added.
• The possibility to assign a slave without DC tag as a Potential Reference Clock was implemented.
• Users now have an opportunity to set or change mailbox request/response timeouts.
• Detecting and restoring safety connections during configuration import from ENI files is now possible.
• A unique identifier for safety connections when saving the configuration of the slave device in uESI files was added.
