The latest iteration of the EtherCAT Master is now available. KPA EtherCAT Master for RTX64 has been updated to version 1.8.802.
This latest update, in comparison to version 1.6.56308, introduces the following improvements:
- New licensing policy
KPA is now applying a new licensing policy. From now on previously purchased licenses for Master 1.x are no longer valid for new versions and must be updated.

From now on Master supports RTX64 4.5 – the latest version of RTX64. - New package naming
New rules of package naming have been applied. - Licensing policy change
Starting from September 2023 we have disabled possibility to bind all new KPA licenses to USB Flash drives. As an alternative, for “portable” licenses we suggest using secure Software protection system (with TDI Matrix USB dongle) provided by KPA.
The changes will not affect the already generated license keys bound to USB Flash drives, they will work as before until reactivation would be needed (e.g. in case of hardware failure or loss).
Binding new “portable” licenses is possible only using KPA Software protection system.
