koenig-pa GmbH is a family-owned German company developing software for industrial automation, real-time communication and control systems.

Our goal is to make the integration of EtherCAT and real-time communication into customer systems predictable, transparent and controllable.
What We Do
We develop software components for deterministic automation and EtherCAT-based communication systems.

Our software is typically delivered as ready-to-use binaries, enabling rapid deployment and reducing development effort. For projects requiring deeper control or customization, selected products are also available with source code.
EtherCAT and System Integration
Since 2004, koenig-pa GmbH has been a member of the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG).
We develop a comprehensive portfolio of EtherCAT software components, including Master, Slave Stack, configuration tools and diagnostic solutions.
Beyond functionality, we place particular emphasis on consistent behavior, clear interfaces and reliable integration into customer-specific systems.

- KPA Master Redundancy (patented), enabling failover without interruption of operation
- KPA EtherCAT Analyzer, allowing independent monitoring of EtherCAT communication

Embedded Solutions
KPA EtherCAT Slave Stack 2 is designed for modern embedded devices.
